Australian Mineral Exploration
Strickland Metals Limited is an ASX-listed mineral exploration company with projects in Australia.
Strickland aims to deliver superior shareholder returns through discovery of “world-class” mineralised systems. The Company is focused on Gold and Copper, both of which are in high demand.
Bryah Basin/Doolgunna Projects
The Company has recently changed its focus to searching for copper and gold deposits in the Bryah Basin Region of Western Australia. This region is host to the very high-grade DeGrussa copper-gold Volcanic hosted Massive Sulphide (‘VMS’) deposit being exploited by Sandfire Resources Limited.
As well as the recently purchased large landholding from Gateway Mining Limited, the Company has recently secured an Option on the exciting Doolgunna project where current work has defined a one kilometre long surface ‘gossan’ with a copper-zinc surface anomaly. Beneath this gossan is a three kilometre long electromagnetic ‘conductor’ extending to one kilometre depths which may be a large new VMS system. The Company is planning the first ever drilling in the second half of 2020.
Horse Well Gold Project Joint Venture
The Company’s Horse Well Gold Project Joint Venture with Silver Lake Minerals Limited is located in the north-eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, only 50 kilometres from Northern Star Mineral's 220,000 ounce per annum Jundee Gold Operations. Strickland owns 60% and is currently sole-funding exploration as the JV looks for the next 1-million-ounce gold discovery.
